-------- Taught in the Bible --------
This is love: not that we loved God, but that he and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
For God so loved the world, that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.
For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world though Him.
All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men's sins against them.
He is the propitiation for our sins, but not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.
Surely He was pierced for our transgression, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him, and by His wounds we are healed. We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.
For if, when we were God's enemies, we were reconciled to Him through the death of His Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through His life.
Therefore, my brothers, I want you to know that through Jesus Christ the forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you. Through Him everyone who believes is justified from everything you could nor be justified by the law of Moses.
But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near through the blood of Christ.
Then He (Holy Spirit) adds 'Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more'.
Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: Cursed is everyone who is hanged on a tree'.
For He (God the Father) has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and has brought us into the kingdom of the Son He loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
He (Jesus Christ) did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves; but He entered the Most Holy Place once for all by his own blood, having obtained eternal redemption.
But if we walk in the light, as He (God) is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from every sin.
Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
Whoever believes in the Son (Jesus Christ) has eternal life, whoever rejects the Son (Jesus Christ} will not see life, for God's wrath remains on him.
So Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and He will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for Him.
Now we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands. |
